I Still Believe Jeremy Camp

MCC of the Rockies continued work for their upcoming CD when Kent and Sarah joined us at CCM Recording Studios in Denver this Saturday by recording lead vocals on I still Believe by Jeremy Camp and guitars on several other songs.
Kent recorded a lead vocal for I Still Believe by Jeremy Camp. We use a
Neumann U87 (the industry standard for vocals - if a studio doesn’t have at least one question their professionalism) for Kent’s voice through our new Grace Designs 101 pre amp. The combination gives an accurate, uncolored but extremely warm tone!
Sarah had her Carvin guitar which we plugged into the Fender Blues Junior here at the studio and we miked it with a Shure SM57. We did some great strummin clean tracks. We actually found on a song call Breathe that the
sound and the feel of the guitar improved when we triple tracked the guitar. This add a real life chorus effect to the sound that all those pedals and effects boxes are trying to emulate. Try it!
Here is a bit about the church’s mission:
We are not a traditional church; we are a vibrant faith community based on a passionate belief in God’s grace.
We express this through dynamic worship featuring the music and message of today, opportunities to build relationships that encourage spiritual growth, and service to our community. Whoever you are, wherever you come from, come as you are—you are welcome here.
